2020 a year of change
2020 is (m)a year of change! Are you also wondering lately what is to come after the bushfires in Australia, Corona and the explosion in Beirut? 2020 has it all. But not only is the outside world changing, but so is every single person in this world - including me. For me, this year was marked by a milestone birthday, the purchase of a property, a relationship crisis and, in part, short-time work. A constant up and down be it professionally or privately. That is exhausting, but sometimes simply necessary to re-sort. Since this blog is a kind of personal open diary, I share my thoughts with you here today.
2020 a year of change
The new decade started with the bushfires in Australia, followed by Corona, a worldwide Black Lives Matter movement and now there is the explosion in Beirut and a continuing climate crisis. Sensitive people (and I would count myself among them) do not simply pass by such catastrophes. Such events occupy me for days and weeks. I think of the fates and victims. I would love to help everyone and get involved everywhere. Do you feel the same way? Sometimes it is just such events that have to happen before something changes and I really hope that we can learn from 2020 and make the world a little safer and more peaceful in the future.
2020 my personal summary
2020 is my personal year of change. For me a new chapter starts with the title '30'. Unfortunately, the year did not start so harmoniously. Privately, there were many arguments that really dragged me down. Professionally, everything was uncertain and not only because of Corona. I'm lucky that I've built up several pillars and it didn't affect me as much as it did other colleagues. Then there was a Corona case in my immediate circle of contacts that kept me busy for weeks. After all the negative events, I wanted to get back to positive events and focus on my goals. So I bought a property. This had been a goal of mine for a long time that I wanted to fulfill. I looked into it intensively for about 2 years before making such an investment and then found my dream property, which is perfect for my purposes. I am blogging more regularly again and keep realizing how much I missed it and how happy it makes me. Most of the time before I was traveling and adventuring that was beautiful but also exhausting. Now I am at home and have more time for friends and family. I missed that a lot as well. I had completely forgotten how 'easy' you can live when you stay in one place longer again and focus on the positive things.
