I've really lived here for 6 1/2 years?! Wow! I love it here because you can be who you are and smurf to the bakery in sweatpants. It's colorful, loud and diverse and you can always discover great corners - parks, cafes, bars, thrift stores! You go around the corner and suddenly stand in the wonderfully dreamy Körnerpark. Neukölln is always changing! I love the proximity to the water and the Turkish bazaar and that you can always get anywhere! Hach!

What has changed in the last years?

In recent years, many young people have moved to Neukölln, probably not least because of gentrification, here it is still affordable and easy to live well.

And what are your insider tips?

The Körnerpark to hang out in the sun, the "Schillerburger" in the Schillerkiez with the best burger in town and the X-mas market on Richardplatz. Then still "Jean et Lili "to store Interieurr, although that is already Kreuzberg and the "Ahorn" with the best breakfast. Oh yes, "Kurz und Klein" for baby clothes in the Reuterkiez is also great.

For example, where is the best place to spend a Sunday afternoon?

Sunday afternoon for sure, first flowmarkt at Maybachufer and afterwards coffee and cheesecake at Ahorn !

I have already visited you several times to take photos, because I just love your apartment. How would you describe your decorating style? What are no-go's for you?

No-Go? Definitely closets and black furniture! I love old vintage pieces with character! For example, my grandma's old dining table, the crib my great-grandpa already made for my dad. I just store a lot and love to store at the flea market! But of course there is also a lot of Ikea stuff in our house, because it is practical and affordable. but little by little the Swedish pieces should disappear more and more! I like it minimalistic, open and bright. Closets are not so my thing. I get inspiration with and from friends, my favorite magazine Couch and lately on Pinterest!

You have a new roommate since last year with your daughter. What has changed for you living-wise because of Alva?

In terms of living space, Alva hasn't changed that much, except that the study has given way to the nursery and we've bought the massive Pax for better or worse.
